Brendan Taylor

Brendan Taylor latest news

Brendan Taylor scored 95 in his only appearance for Northerns in the 2008-09 Logan Cup.

Since making his international debut in 2004 as an 18 year old, Brendan Taylor has had to play a major role in the Zimbabwean team as one of the more experienced players. Primarily a batsman, Taylor was the teams first choice wicket keeper for 2 years when Tatenda Taibu was not available for selection. Also a useful offbreak bowler, he has on occasion been the man to get a vital breakthrough.

His most famous achievement though, came against Australia in 2007, when his allround class behind the stumps, and with the bat, meant he saw the Zimbabweans home to an amazing victory.
