One of many wicket keeper batsmen in Zimbabwe, Mufambisi has dropped down the pecking order, struggling to get selected even for Northern's Logan Cup matches in 2007. He has been found wanting at international level, averaging just over 9 in 6 ODI's. At just 20, time is on his side, and it is quite possible he will play many games for Zimbabwe over the next 10 years. He suffered a major setback in 2008 though, not being able to break into the Northerns side at all.
