Possibly Zimbabwe's most talented First Class batsman, Sean Williams was for over a year averaging over 45 in First Class cricket. He now averages high 40's. He is highly regarded by Zimbabwe Cricket, and is best batting at number 4. He is an automatic selection, but with Taibu batting at 4, Williams will have to settle with batting at 5. He is the second allrounder in the team, after Elton Chigumbura. Williams is a batting allrounder, who can bowl left arm orthodox, although of late he seems to be playing as a specialist batsman. He is one of the worlds best and most athletic fielders, with comparisons being made to Michael Clarke when Williams fields at backward point.
