Higgins debuted in ODI's at just 18 years of age. He is a very promising legspin bowler, in a country with so many promising spin bowlers it's not funny. He did remarkably well in his first stint in the ODI team, taking 13 wickets in 11 games at 29.23, with an economy of just over 4. He hasn't played club cricket in Zimbabwe in the 2007-08 season, nor did he play in the 2007 Logan Cup. He did however go to England to play for Winsley in the Wiltshire cricket league, where he topped the batting averages with 62.40.
