Perhaps even more unknown than Piet Rinke when he joined the Zimbabwe side in 2006, he did surprisingly well. In his 3 innings, he made one half-century and averaged nearly 25. His ODI debut was also his List A debut, and this came 6 months before his First Class debut. He is a more than useful medium pace bowler who can swing the ball, and in particular he troubled the Northerns batsmen in the SAA Provincials in 2007.
It is believed that Meth is now playing cricket in South Africa with the intention to qualify for that country.
