One of the more talented players in the Zimbabwe domestic circuit, he is highly regarded by Zimbabwe Cricket. He is a batting allrounder that has consistently been overlooked for selection, with his last meaningful game time coming against Bangladesh A for Zimbabwe A in 2004-05. He has now set his sights on playing county cricket. He is an athletic fielder, and the brother of Sean and Ryan Ervine. He was a qualified coach at just age 21.
