Exclusive: Barbour to umpire first ODIs since 2007

brmtaylor.com has ascertained that Kevan Barbour will be umpiring his first ODIs of 2008 in the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has appointed Barbour to the first 2 ODIs on November 20 and November 22. Russell Tiffin, Zimbabwe's most experienced umpire, will stand in the final three ODIs on November 24, November 28 and November 30.

Aleem Dar of Pakistan will stand in all 5 games.

Mike Procter will be match referee for the 5 matches, his last series before he takes up a post within Cricket South Africa as convener of selectors.
