Sri Lanka A squad announced

The Sri Lankan cricket board has announced their fifteen man squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe. Sri Lanka's "A" team will play the Zimbabwean first eleven in two First Class four-day matches, and three one day matches to be awarded List A status.

Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan, a veteran of 42 Tests and 128 ODI's, has been named captain for the series. Chamara Kantha Kapugedera, who at 20 years of age has already played 6 Tests and 22 ODI's, has been named vice captain.

Kanchana Gunawardena, Tharaka Lakshitha and Ranga Dias have been named as the reserve players.

The first match is due to be played at the Harare Sports Club in the Zimbabwean capital, from the 14th to the 17th of October.

Zimbabwe have not yet named their squad.
