At the completion of the Logan Cup, Northerns were the clear winners with 4 wins from 4 matches, and this is reflected by their 4 members in the unofficial "Logan Cup XI".

Winning captain Elton Chigumbura retains the title for the Logan Cup XI, his place in the team secured with his 186 run knock and his ability as a strike bowler. Team mate Brendan Taylor scored an unbeaten 150 against Centrals, and was the outstanding wicket keeper of the tournament.

Tarisai Mahlunge and Tafadzwa Ngulube, both wicket keepers for Centrals and Westerns respectively, were selected for their batting ability, averaging high thirties during the tournament as openers.

Bradley Staddon was the most consistent performer of the competition. Without going on to make any big scores, he was a vital member of a poor Westerns batting attack. He scored 273 runs at 34.12 and was the sixth highest run scorer overall.

The national team Easterns duo of Hamilton Masakadza and Stuart Matsikenyeri led from the front. Masakadza was the leading run scorer of the Logan Cup, with 371 runs at 74.20, while Matsikenyeri was not far behind wit 313 runs at 44.71. Matsikenyeri's 201 was the highest individual score of the tournament.

Ray Price and Brighton Mugochi were the leading bowlers, with 22 and 24 wickets each. Price's return could have been even greater had it not been for the other international bowlers in the Northerns line up.

As the leading fast bowler in the tournament with 21 wickets, Shingirai Masakadza is an automatic selection in the Logan Cup XI. Joining Masakadza and Chigumbura is retiree Gary Brent, who took 13 wickets despite playing only 2 matches.
