India and West Indies set to tour Zimbabwe in August

It suddenly looks like there will be a huge month of cricket ahead for Zimbabwe with India and West Indies set to take part in a tri-series after the Bangladesh tour. Due to India's presence the series will be a huge money-spinner for Zimbabwe Cricket, but more importantly it will give a cash injection to the West Indies Cricket Board - it is thought this was what lured the West Indians back after a strike for 2 Test matches against Bangladesh.

MyNews.in believe that a tour of Zimbabwe now is a "thank you" for Zimbabwe voting with India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh regarding Pakistan's World Cup hosting status.

It is thought that the tri-series will start a couple of days after the Bangladesh tour ends on August 18. After the TV agreements are signed it is expected an official announcement will be made.
