On the final day of the tournament Centrals upset Northerns at the CFX Academy, a shock win considering the talent in the Northerns line up. Easterns comfortably overcame Westerns at Takashinga.

Northerns vs Centrals, CFX Academy

Batting first Northerns made 8/229 in their 50 overs, a defendable total against Centrals. Keith Kondo scored 58, while Cephas Zhuwawo made 29. Trevor Garwe was impressive down the order with a 29 ball 42, unbeaten. Chamu Chibhabha took 3 wickets.

In the run chase it was Robertson Chinyengetere, the Uprising captain who has performed so well in the club season, who hit form with an unbeaten 72.

Westerns vs Easterns, Takashinga Cricket Ground

Easterns bat first and scored 10/270 from their 50 overs. Bernard Mlambo smashed 66 including 10 boundaries and a six. It was the spinners that kept the scoreboard ticking with 34 and 46 to Prosper Utseya and Timycen Maruma respectively. Steven Nyamuzinga made 30 not out.

Westerns were in the hunt for a while thanks to Charles Coventry's fine 75 from 70 balls, but once he was out to a brilliant catch by Johnson Marumisa the going got tough. Keith Dabengwa was unable to build on his performance from Friday, and the only other score of note was Romeo Kasawaya's 31.
