Centrals made just 135, a target never likely to challenge the Easterns. Forster Mutizwa and Steven Nyamuzinga received priase from their coach Steven Mangongo regarding their lower order hitting. Easterns knocked over the total in 24 overs.

Keith Dabengwa finally hit form with an aggressive 71. His top order didn't help the cause though, with Freedom Takarusenga out for a duck and Mark Vermeulen dismissed for just 11. Charles Coventry steered the Westerns back on course with 26, including 5 boundaries.

Northerns had no big scores, with Cephus Zhuwawo's 31 and 33 not out from Trevor Garwe providing the bulk of the runs. Graeme Cremer took 3/15, but that was not enough to snare victory.

Easterns have already won the tournament, and Northerns will finish 2nd if they beat Centrals in the final match.
