Brendan Taylor put on a 91 run stand with Vusi Sibanda on Day 2 of the First Class match against Sri Lanka A. Taylor made 30 before being dismissed, while Sibanda added 55. At stumps, Zimbabwe are 6/203. Tatenda Taibu replaced Brendan Taylor behind the stumps in the first 4-day match against Sri Lanka A. A strange decision by whoever was behind it considering his success as wicket keeper in the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa.

Sri Lanka A are currently on top of the Zimbabweans after amassing 326 for the loss of 8 wickets at stumps on day 1. Dilruwan Perera is the visitors top scorer with 75, while Malinda Warnapura chipped in with 71.

Chris Mpofu and Prosper Utseya have been the key bowlers for Zimbabwe, each with 3 wickets so far. Tawanda Mupariwa, from the information we have gathered, was believed to be the most expensive bowler, although he too has taken a wicket. Gary Brent has also taken a wicket, when Dhammika Prasad edged the ball to Taibu.

Brendan Taylor took a magnificent catch at second slip to send Kaushal Silva on his way, after scoring 63. Stuart Matsikenyeri has also been good in the field, catching Chamara Kapugedara at silly mid on.
