Chaitezvi, Victor
Major Teams Represented: Mashonaland, Old Hararians
Born: 1987
A very talented allrounder who has represented Zimbabwe at age group level, Victor Chaitezvi has played just one First Class match - for Mashonaland in the 2004-05 Logan Cup. He was 12th man for seven other Logan Cup matches that season, because of prolific run scoring at schools level - he averaged 132 and scored one double century, three centuries and two fifties and was awarded Zimbabwe's best schools batsman that year. In the final he scored 84 from 39 balls to secure his teams victory. A former under-19's captain, he is still very young, so will most likely play a lot more First Class cricket in the coming years for his home side, the Northerns. At the moment he plays National League club cricket for Old Hararians. He was born in Chinhoyi. Victor was interviewed by brmtaylor.com in November 2007, to read the article go to news-30.html.
