Panyangara was a very skillful bowling allrounder, one of the few in Zimbabwe with genuine pace. He was well known for his refreshingly enthusiastic celebrations after taking a wicket. Unfortunately, he was injury prone, and has dropped off the Zimbabwe cricket radar for quite some time. He applied to be a part of an Indian academy several seasons ago. More recently, he played club cricket in England for Barkisland. It is believed he wants to make a return to Zimbabwe cricket, but not confirmed.
