Shingi, as he is often called, is the brother of Hamilton Masakadza. A good medium pace bowler for Takashinga, in 2008 he made his First Class debut, and has impressed international critics. Controversially missed out on a central contract after impressing in the Logan Cup, but earned a call up to the Zimbabwe Board XI.
